Rev Coffee in Smyrna will be hosting its fourth semi-annual Rev Fest 2011 on Saturday, April 9, from 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. The one-day music and arts festival will take place at the coffeehouse and feature local bands and artists. Food available for purchase will be barbecue by Staqs BBQ, and pizza will be served by DaVinci’s.

The purpose of Rev Fest is to merge artists, musicians and businesses from Smyrna and the surrounding community. The event provides a public venue for local talent to showcase their wares and skills while engaging an audience and, hopefully, building a fanbase in the process.

Featured artists include Camille Ready of Blue Dogwood Studio, Sarrah Steiner of FatGirlArt, Jay Reyna of deviantART, and Angie Hemmerlein of Get Creative Atl.

Some bands that will be playing are The Romans, Insidious Interference and Wesley Cook.

Rev Fest will be a good excuse to get outside Tamarron for a while to get some good eats, good coffee and good art.
