Taylor Swift and Album of the Year doesn’t really compute for me. I think Beyonce deserved it more or even John Legend, but Swift? Uhmm no not really. I know she had a few hit singles, but as a record overall I don’t think it had the quality that makes up a Grammy for Album of the Year. Now an album worthy of such an award is “Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King” from Dave Matthews Band.

They are entering their 20^th year and have already been labeled one of the best touring bands of all time. If you haven’t checked them out in concert, then you can download a show for free (courtesy of the band allowing tapers) or do yourself a favor and buy a ticket. This album is a great representation of what DMB brings to the music community – depth, energy, and a tremendous talent of telling a story through lyrics and melody.
