Slow Cooked BBQ in Smyrna needs no name…
…or a set location at that!
On any given Friday after a long day at work, drive past the Wells Fargo Parking lot on the corner of Atlanta Rd and Church St to see a truck parked up setting up shop. Not selling handmade treasures, “local” produce, but something a little more messy.

Shortly after seeing this truck, smoke filling the air will then be followed by the smell of smoky barbecue! It’s all apart of one man’s plan to bring quality food to Smyrna, without 4 walls, and an extensive wait staff. You can still trust the food prepared by local, Joey Bridgers (who now owns Golden Maple Foods)!
Lot’s of people have spoken highly of his offerings: ribs, briskets, baked beans and chicken! The prices are left affordable to be left affordable to the growing fanbase. Bridgers has even scored himself another parking lot at Vickery Hardware on Saturdays because of the success.
Who said food tastes better served at a table in a restaurant? We challenge you to find his truck on an upcoming Friday. Find the truck from Tamarron Apartments; exit the community toward Atlanta Rd, then turn right and proceed until you get to the intersection of Atlanta Rd and Church St!
