The weather is FINALLY getting warmer in Atlanta! That means that spring is just around the corner. And with spring come plenty of flowers! One of my personal favorite flowers is the orchid, so I am very excited about checking out Atlanta Botanical Gardens newest exhibit, Orchid Daze: Liquid Landscapes.

Thousands of full bloom orchids are now on display with gorgeous and unique water backgrounds. Orchid Daze is also going along with Orchid Market Weekends, one weekend each month that features live orchids for sale from local growers, tips and advice, orchid supplies and orchid art available for purchase. The only market weekends left are March 5 – 6 and April 2 – 3, 2011, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM (Orchid Daze opened Feb. 5^th).

Well residents, you all have plenty of time to check out this beautiful exhibit, it ends April 10^th, 2011. If you’re a gardens member its free, but adult tickets are $18.95, children ages 3-12 are $12.95. Purchase tickets here!
