What’s going Tamarron residents! So the snow was great and all for me until about the 3rd day of being stuck in my apartment! Cabin fever is at an all time high for me, and I know I’m not the only one! Thankfully, temperatures are expected to rise today and this weekend, FINALLY melting all this snow and ice. You know what that means…time to get out and explore the city of Atlanta!! Here is a list of the AJC’s Weekend Best Bets:
1/15: “Bring It On: The Musical” is set in the world of competitive cheerleading and inspired by the 2000 movie starring Kirsten Dunst and Gabrielle Union, though the musical tells a different story. It opens Jan. 15 and runs through Feb. 20.
1/16: The Atlanta Chamber Players host the three national finalists in the “Rapido!” composition competition. They’ll perform the three works (and other pieces) in Hill Auditorium at the High Museum of Art.
Also, don’t forget about the home team, the Atlanta Falcons, playing in a crucial NFL playoff game this Saturday at the Georgia Dome. We will be playing the Green Bay Packers and kickoff is at 8pm. Go Falcons!
